In der Gegend von Lemmenjoki gab es mehrere Goldgr\u00e4ber. Einige von ihnen waren Profis, die Maschinen bedienten, aber f\u00fcr viele war der Goldabbau eine Lebensweise. Jaakko Kangasniemi, Goldgr\u00e4ber in vierter Generation, blickt in einem Interview mit dem Journalisten Seppo J. Herausgeber Seppo J. Partanen.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Jaakko Kangasniemi kam 1948 nach Lemmenjoki, um mit seinem Vater nach Gold zu graben. Damals dauerte der sogenannte Goldrausch etwa 5-6 Jahre, um abzuebben, und begann Ende der 1970er Jahre erneut, als der Goldpreis stieg. Manche Goldgr\u00e4ber graben f\u00fcr ihren Beruf, f\u00fcr andere ist Goldsch\u00fcrfen eine Lebenseinstellung. Der Journalist Seppo J. Partanen interviewte 1985 den Goldgr\u00e4ber Jaakko Kangasniemi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Das finnische Bergbaugesetz wurde 2011 ge\u00e4ndert, wodurch der mechanische Goldabbau im Juni 2020 beendet wurde.
